Services Offered at Sanjeevini Hospital

Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemoperfusion (HIPEC)

Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemoperfusion (HIPEC) is a perfect treatment option for advanced type of cancer; this technique delivers an ultra-concentrated, heated chemotherapy solution directly into the abdomen during the surgery. Surgical oncologists at Sanjeevini Hospital have great expertise in offering this technique to patients with cancer in the abdominal cavity.

Hepatic artery infusion (HAI)

Hepatic arterial infusion (HAI) therapy is a procedure in which our surgeons deliver chemotherapy drugs directly to the liver through a pump that is surgically implanted into the liver. HAI may be used in combination with other treatments, which includes:

  • Isolated hepatic perfusion (IHP)
  • Yttrium-90 internal radiation
  • Systemic chemotherapy

Isolated hepatic perfusion (IHP)

This is a regional treatment technique that delivers high dose chemotherapy, biologic agents, and hyperthermia through a completely isolated vascular recirculating perfusion circuit as a means of regionally treating liver tumors

Hyperthermic intrathoracic chemotherapy (HITHOC)

This is a technique for brain tumor removal which allows surgeons to access deep areas of the brain with little manipulation of the surrounding tissue. A small tube is used to access the tumor through a tiny channel in the brain, and the tumor is removed through this corridor.

Robotic Whipple surgery

Robotic technology is used for completing the surgery through a series of multiple tiny incisions. This Whipple procedure removes the head of the pancreas, the first part of the small intestine the gallbladder and the bile duct. The remaining organs are reattached to allow you to digest food normally after surgery
